About ROC ROYAL INC
ROC ROYAL INC is a Rochester, NY based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth and families through impactful, community-driven programming. Founded in 2018 by Khadija Yawn, ROC ROYAL INC was created to address the need for safe, supportive spaces where young people can grow, learn, and thrive.
Our organization centers its work on education, wellness, social emotional development, and youth leadership. We believe that when young people are provided with the right tools, guidance, and opportunities, they develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed both in school and in life. ROC ROYAL INC is best known for its cornerstone youth programs like 585 DREAM Afterschool Program and the 585 DREAM Summer Program which serve children in grades K–6 and youth ages 5–13. These programs provide academic support, enrichment activities, recreation, and social-emotional learning in safe, engaging environments.
Our goal is to build skills that last a lifetime and lay the foundation for long-term success. In addition to our youth programs, we lead wellness initiatives and host large-scale community events that bring families together, promote health equity, and strengthen neighborhood connections. Guided by strong partnerships and deep community roots, ROC ROYAL INC remains committed to creating lasting, positive change one block at a time.

Khadija Yawn
Founder and Executive Director
Founder and executive director. Since founding the organization in 2018, she has remained committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where young people can grow, learn, and thrive.

With a background in program management, community leadership, and mentorship, Khadija has led the organization’s growth with purpose and passion. She continues to be a powerful advocate for equity, wellness, and opportunity in underrepresented communities.

Our Team
Our Work
ROC ROYAL INC empowers youth and families through community-driven programs focused on education, wellness, and social-emotional development. Our cornerstone programs the 585 DREAM Afterschool Program and 585 DREAM Summer Program serve children in grades K–6 and youth ages 5–13, providing safe spaces where participants build skills that last a lifetime. Each year, we serve 200+ youth, maintain a 90%+ daily attendance rate, and see measurable outcomes 90% of participants improve conflict-resolution skills, 85% strengthen emotional expression, and 95% build new friendships. Through strong partnerships and community engagement, we are creating lasting impact and strengthening neighborhoods one block at a time.
